Here goes another disclaimer.  Hopefully you’d understand this.  I’m not going to make the font smaller so it won’t be skipped.  A lot has been asking for the Thursday ratings, and luckily someone sent it to me.  But please read the disclaimer again and again before posting your violent/non-violent reactions.

Disclaimer: The Thursday ratings didn’t come from my usual source(s).  I was hesitant to post it but since a lot has been asking, I decided to paste it for everyone to see.  But I’m not going to claim it as mine.  The information below may be correct but may also be inconsistent with the official tabulation from AGB.  This is for the readers to decide if they believe it or not.  I will have the leisure to change it anytime or erase it, without prior notice.

And here’s the Friday to Sunday ratings.  Click to enlarge.

See.  My sources did not fail me.  The only mistake that I made, (yes, I made) and was mis-sent was Love to Love and LoveSpell’s ratings.  LoveSpell wasn’t included and it’s rating was lined with L2L.  At least it’s been corrected.  And to those who violently attacked my post, HUH!!!

Is she wearing extensions again?  Good thing I haven’t cut my hair yet.    And now I have something to look forward to watching this October, in television that is.  MMS!

Crucial test for Robin
A LITTLE BIT  by : Remy Umerez

IT seems unthinkable that the forthcoming romantic movie of Regine  Velasquez and Robin Padilla entitled “Till I Met You” has no kissing scenes at all. Rumors  started to float that Regine is not too keen engaging in a smooching scene which their first movie  “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw” had plenty of.

What gives? And why is the name of Ogie Alcasid  being dragged when he is not even included in the movie?

Regine and Robin are good kissers and it shows on the big wide screen. Removing such a titillating scene will bring disappointment to many moviegoers. It will definitely not live up as the “ultimate kilig movie of the year 2006.”

We asked supervising producer Joey Abacan to comment: “O sige, magbilangan tayo ng kissing scene.”

So, it was not true, after all. Sige, let’s start counting and compare its intensity when their lips first met six years ago in “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw.”

Incidentally, Till I Met You, a co-production between Viva Films and GMA7 will be a crucial test to the career of Robin Padilla whose last movie (La Visa Loca) was not a box-office success. Anywhere in the world, the status of a star depends on how your last film fared at the box-office.

Expectations are high and we hope “Till I Met You” more than deliver.
source

A movie of Regine without a kissing scene is not not worth-watching.  Bwahahaha.  Regine kasi is a seasoned kisser so why deprave the fans what they are clamoring for?

And these male actors, if their careers are experiencing a lowdown, they’d always turn to Regine for a boost.  Look at Aga, Richard and yes, Robin.  They look for her because they know that she’s very bankable and her fans are reliable to shell out their hard-earned money just to support the songbird.   Hirap maging adik!

Balikang Robin-Regine marami ang nag-aabang
DAILY INSIDER by : Dinno Erece

SOME theater owners are willing to pay subsidy para maipalabas ang Till I Met You ng GMA Films sa sinehan nila.

Katunayan, more than a hundred theaters na ito ipapalabas and this will happen only because may mga sinehan na ngang magbibigay ng subsidy para makagawa ng extra prints ang GMA Films.

Common practice daw ito ng mga sinehan if they want a movie to be shown sa kanila.

A film outfit naman can only print negatives so much depending on the number of theaters din.

If there are 80  theaters na pagpapalabasan ng pelikula, roughly 40 prints lang ang ipagagawa at dito pumapasok ang mga lagarista — ang mga nag-iikot ng negatives sa mga sinehan.

If a theater owner wants a movie to be shown sa kanila, they will help subsidize the negative printing cost.

Ha-ha-ha.

Manoy inapi sa billing
BASTA  by : Nitz Miralles

Ipararating namin sa GMA Films ang reklamo ng fans ni Eddie Garcia sa billing nito sa Till I Met You.

Super under the title na nga raw ang name nito’y maliit pa ang tipo ng letra at kahit may “and” before his name, mahirap pa ring makita ang pangalan nito.

source

O di ba?  Ang taray!  Many theatre owners are already reserving for a print of their own so that they will surely have the film shown in their movie houses.  That’s what you get when you are showcasing a star who’s bankable in every media. :D

Robin and Regine meet again on the silver screen
manila times
By Danny Vibas

NOVEMBER marks the showing of Robin Padilla and Regine Velasquez’s second movie together, five years after they first teamed up in a blockbuster hit, Kailangan Kita. Titled Till I Met You, the movie is again produced by Viva Films, but this time with GMA Films as co-producer.

Between the two companies, Viva, of course, is the more experienced outfit as a film company. Moreover, both Robin and Regine are identified with the Vic del Rosario-owned production, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in November. Why then does it need to team up with GMA Films for this project?

It’s GMA Films president Annette Gozon-Abrogar who answered the question at the press conference for the co-production last week. “It was GMA Films that hatched the project and pitched it to Viva Films for a partnership since we do admit that we’re a very young film company that does not have as much funds and experience as the more established ones like Viva and Regal,” she explained.

“But for Till I Met You, we have a special reason to team up with Viva. After we signed up Regine into the project, she discovered that she overlooked a provision in her supposedly expired movie contract with Viva that still ties her down with the company. We assured her that any potential legal issues between her and Viva could be avoided since we were thinking of Viva as our co-producer.

“Happily, Viva accepted our offer! So, now Till I Met You is on its postproduction stage and will be ready for release by November, in time for Viva’s silver anniversary.”

Viva has not produced 35 mm films for the past two or three years, though it quietly went into the production of digital films and distribution of little known low-budget foreign films. Industry sources have it that Viva has been on the red for some years now and it still trying to get back on its feet. On its own, talks have it that the company would not be able to fund a multimillion Regine-Robin film since the talent fees alone of the lead stars easily sum up to several millions. But the company has to glam it up for its 25th anniversary all the same so the GMA Films offer for collaboration is a Godsend.

Believe it or not, if the Regine-Robin project did not come along, all that Viva would have to offer on its anniversary month is a Keanna Reeves movie intriguingly titled Reyna. The company was supposed to have an Ai-Ai de las Alas-Anne Curtis movie interestingly titled Kyut Ang Ina Mo! But filming has not even begun as of press time. Funds meant for the project may have been invested on the Regine-Robin project, which obviously cannot be a low-budget film.

Till I Met You has Regine portraying an ambitious social climber, who has hooked a rich old man (portrayed by Eddie Garcia) who thinks she is worth marrying. He brings her to his sprawling ranch, introduces her to the caretaker (Robin) whom he treats like a son. When some urgent business has to be dealt with back in the city, the old man leaves his fiancée at the ranch, entrusting her to the caretaker. The movie is meant to be a romantic comedy, so it should be easy for anyone to figure out what develops between the fiancée and the caretaker.

The film was mostly shot in Tagaytay and Amadeo, Cavite, under the direction of Mark Reyes, who seems to be GMA Films’ favorite director these days. The company’s last film, the very unoriginal and unconvincing Moments of Love, was also by the upstart director who happens to be a nephew of the more sensible scriptwriter-director Joey Javier Reyes.

The producers hope moviegoers these days would be mature enough to patronize Till I Met You even if it happens that by October or November, Regine may still be linked illicitly to the singer-actor-composer Ogie

Alcasid, who keeps a legitimate wife and two young daughters in Australia.

Meanwhile, Regine and Robin have been taking all the opportunities to be seen together in show-biz affairs and acting like lovers madly in love with each other.

Lolz @ supposed to be anniversary offer of VIVA which is a film of Keanna.  Career saviour talaga si Regine.

I received the Friday to Sunday ratings already from one of my sources but I still have to confirm the authenticity.  It’s kinda jumbled so I really had to make sure if the information is correct.  But the ratings that I get from him all jive with those posted in the tabloid in the past, so I’m kinda in a dilemma right now.  So to make ends meet, I’m going to post the ratings here, but not in it’s usual template.

Disclaimer: The following ratings are posted in a different template, meaning I’m not going to claim it as mine.  The information below may be correct but may also be inconsistent with the official tabulation from AGB.  This is for the readers to decide if they believe it or not.  I will have the leisure to change it anytime, without prior notice, if and when I get the official ratings soon.  And the confirmation that I’ll receive will be the one to be pasted on my ratings template with the eimichiko.com print on it.

Here’s the day 44 Filipino transcript of the hit Korean drama My Name is Kim Samsoon. This drama was shown Monday to Friday, 9:30pm, over GMA-7 in the Philippines.

click the pics to enlarge

Sorry for the wait.  I’ve been a little busy and I had so much to do that I can’t quite allot a time for the transcripts.  Actually, days 45 til the last episode hasn’t been transcribed yet so it takes quite a lot of hours to finish one.  But anyway, I’ll work hard so I can finish everything.  I have to beat GMA’s My Name is Kim Samsoon rewind by posting the last episode before they televise it.    But they are cutting too much scenes that’s why it takes only a weekend to air one whole (Korean version) episode.  Sigh…  They let me down again.  Bad GMA.  :(

Anyway, this episode showed a lot of emotions.  From surprise, anger, sad, frightened, expectant, worried, concerned, etc, etc.  But it makes me really happy that this time around, it’s Samsoon whom Cyrus chose.  He followed his heart’s desire and the next episode will showcase his happiness with his decision.  Waah, I love you, Samshikie!

The following pics are from the behind the scene clips.  The two of them are really at ease with each other.  And maybe they are even more than friendly.  Who knows?  Wish!

Uuy, Bin, looks like you’re too mesmerized by the beauty that’s in front of you. *kilig* Stop staring so much, hahaha.

But look at Sun-ah, deadma the stares ever. Ayy. Why is it that you seem not to notice Bin’s more than friendly gestures. *Sigh*

On the next transcript, we will be accompanying the two with their date.  Expect a big dose of kilig overload to the max.

Till I Met You next time!!!  Gambatte everyone!  Ikitemasu….

I’m not really sure what Q10 was but I guess it was about a celebration of beauty.

DHC’s Q10 was held 2 days ago, on September 20, and a lot of fans swarmed to greet Sun-ah and have her autograph too.

Sun-ah looked tired.  Maybe because they are rushing the shooting of the “Thursday’s Child” movie or she has a lot of engagement at that time.  But she still managed to look good and appear upbeat for the fans.  She even was a trooper, doing cute and silly poses for the cameras.

Well, here are the pics.  Enjoy them all!

Kissing Scenes Abound in Regine/Robin Movie!
by Crispina Martinez-Belen source

Yes, there will be a lot of kissing scenes for Robin Padilla and Regine Velasquez in their reunion movie “Til I Met You,” the latest offering of GMA Films in collaboration with Viva Films. The kissing scenes are integral to the story, the producers said, and it won’t just be Robin who Regine will be kissing, but also Eddie Garcia, the other side of the love triangle in the movie directed by Mark Reyes.

“Til I Met You” is a dramatic story and expectedly there will be romantic and sizzling love scenes, especially so because the stars are veteran and established actors used to playing mature roles. Of course they didn’t have qualms doing such love scenes, knowing that they are needed and called for.  Atty. Annette Gozon-Abrogar heightened romantic expectations of
everyone as she revealed that indeed, there will be a lot of kissing scenes in “Til I Met You.” By the way, the movie is based on her own storyline, which was scripted by Benedict Mique.

So why Robin Padilla and Regine Velasquez for their comeback joint venture with Viva Films? “Because they are established actors both, and they have box-office clout. It’s been a while since they last appeared as co-stars in
‘Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw’ and people have been clamoring for a reunion movie between them, so ito na nga. The waiting has been long but definitely it will be worth it.”

In “Til I Met You,” Regine plays Luisa, a young and sophisticated con artist who’s about to get married to a rich haciendero, Señor Manuel, played by Eddie Garcia, according to supervising producer Joey Abacan.  Robin, on the other hand, plays Gabriel, an orphan boy who grew up under the care of Señor Manuel. At first glance, Gabriel is immediately
suspicious that Luisa is hiding a secret - or could only be after Señor Manuel’s money. Being very protective of Señor Manuel, whom he looks up to as his father figure, he is determined to discover and unearth Luisa’s lies.

“Til I Met You” is a romantic comedy that will certainly sweep you off your feet, and make you fall in love again, the producers promised. Hot young stars Marky Cielo and Jackie Rice complete the cast.

Watch out for this film, slated for showing next month.

Lolz.  this press release makes me more giddy and excited all the more.  And I can’t wait for the kissing scene or love scene between Regine and Eddie Garcia. Waah!

Regine-Robin passionate scenes hotter in new movie
CHECK IT OUT  by : Bong De Leon source

SO, it’s a gimmick.

Or, more appropriate, a joke. When Robin Padilla told reporters that Regine Velasquez refused to do a kissing scene with him in “Till I Met You,” he was simply kidding.

In fact, “Till I Met You” dwarfed their first movie, “Kailangan  Ko’y Ikaw,” years back in terms of romance and passionate kissing scenes. This is the sixth movie GMA Films did,  this time a co-production venture with Viva Films which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

In the movie, Regine plays a con artist  scheduled to tie a knot with a haciendero played by Eddie Garcia. Robin plays a very loyal worker of the haciendero who has some doubts about the woman his boss is going to marry. He discovers the secret of Regine but which he won’t divulge to his boss.

Viva big bosses Tess Cruz and Vincent del Rosario and GMA bosses,  Annette Gozon-Abrogar, also vehemently deny that Regine made ‘inarte’ before doing the kissing scene. In fact, Regine and Robin did it longer than what their director asked to.

Included in the cast are Marky Cielo and Jackie Rice. “Till I Met You” will have a grand premiere night at the SM Megamall and an invitational premiere at the Podium, where fans will have the chance to see their idols and ask them to sign autographs.

Ay sows! It soooo gimick talaga! (Conotic? Hahaha)

It’s so evident naman kasi that Regine and Robin’s sweetness is just for the promo.  Haller!

GMA Films and Viva Films co-produce the Robin Padilla-Regine Velasquez reunion film, “Till I Met You”. Does this mean they have reconciled after Viva transferred Rachelle Ann Go, Sarah Geronimo, Anne Curtis and other talents to ABS?

“Till I Met You” is set to open on October 11, the same playdate of the first Robin-Regine hit, “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw”, when it was shown six years ago.

Obviously, they’re hoping history will repeat tiself. In the film, Regine plays Luisa, a con-artist who seduces a wealthy hacendero, Senyor Manuel (Eddie Garcia), to get his riches.

They’re supposed to get married soon, but Senyor Manuel’s ward, Gabriel (Robin), an orphan boy he treats as his own son, suspects that Luisa is a shady character and is determined to uncover the truth about her, blowing up all her covers. The problem is he also finds himself falling in love with Luisa.

“This is a must-see love story,” says Joey. “We didn’t follow the usual formulas in local romance movies. What we did is to come up with several twists that will surely surprise the viewers. The script is written by Benedict Mique, who has penned a totally different love story, and directed by Mark Reyes. It also stars Starstruck 3 ultimate survivors Marky Cielo and Jackie Rice to attract the teen crowd.”

Regine Velasquez arrived four hours late for the taping of “Pinoy Pop Superstar” due to traffic. Surprisingly, Direk Louie Ignacio didn’t flare up. Is a diva like Regine worth the long wait or don’t the contestants have much of a choice?
source

Talaga ‘to si Dolly Ann.  I’m sure Regine seldom goes to the tapings late.  And Direk Louie knows perfectly that Regine does not make it a habit to be a pain in neck for the whole production team.  Actually, they always praise Regine for being a model employee/host because she’s very professional when it comes to her job!

Weeee, I’ve already heard the Atlantika theme song and it’s superb.  If Di Na Nag-iisa of Darna is fantastic, Maghihintay Ako is totally terrific.  I’ve played it over and over again and I feel I really won’t get sick of the song.  The melody will stick in your minds after hearing it.  And what about the feeling?  Expect goosebumps after listening.

And boy!  Ang taas ever.  Regine used her falsetto yet it sounds like her natural voice still.  I can’t even sing properly with her (wahahaha, asa pa ko!).

Anyway, Just look out for Atlantika and their promo, you might catch the theme song.

Or you can go to Direk Mark Reyes’ youtube account.  Just search for “direkmark”, that’s his account name, and you’ll see the teasers of Atlantika and of course, the music video.  Just don’t expect Regine to be in the mv like she was in Di Na Nag-iisa.  Drat!

Oh, by the way, anyone interested to have the sound file, just put a request in the comments section of this post.   I’m sure you’ll love the song.

And since we’re into it, here’s the lyrics of the song.  I just wish my transcriptions is correct.

Maghihintay Ako (Atlantika Theme Song)
Regine Velasquez

Ating tadhana, magkaibang mundo
Bakit pilit tayong pinaglalayo
Alam kong batid mo, tayo’y iisang puso
Kaya’t maghihintay ako…….

Kaytagal nang panahon, hanap-hanap ka
Lungkot ko’y napawi ng makapiling ka
Ngunit naglaho ka, sa akin ay nawalay
Bakit ang agos ikaw ang tinangay
Mula sa dagat ng aking buhay

Ating tadhana, magkaibang mundo
Bakit pilit tayong pinaglalayo
Alam kong batid mo, tayo’y iisang puso
Kaya’t maghihintay ako……
Maghihintay ako………

Malunod man sa lalim ng sakit
Aahon din sa nalalapit na langit
Alam kong ikaw, sumpa ay babalik
Alam kong ikaw ay babalik
Oh woooh

Ating tadhana, magkaibang mundo
Bakit pilit tayong pinaglalayo
Alam kong batid mo, tayo’y iisang puso
Maghihintay ako…
Maghihintay ako…
