Early October, our lovely unnie attended a dear friend’s wedding.  This time, it’s Kim Su-roh who got married to his beloved girlfriend and Kim Sun-ah was there to give her support.  If Kim Su-roh is not very familiar to you, let me refresh your memory.  Kim Su-roh plays Jeong Seok, Jin-hee’s (KSA) second love in S Diary.  That jerk who dumped Jin-hee because he wants to get married to a richer girl! 

Anyway, here are some pics of Sun-ah unnie at the wedding. (I think she only spent a little time there, she seems to be always in a hurry)

And just two days ago, Daniel Henny’s first full length film had it’s premiere and what do you suspect?  Of course, Kim Sun-Ah was also there.  Not just her, Jung Ryu-Won (Hanna), Lee Ah-Hyun (Ate Eliza) and MNIKSS’ writer attended it too.  Our unnie is a real sweet friend, it seems.

And take note of the pictures below.  It seems Sun-ah wasn’t prepared or did not prepare for the event.  She had no make-up on and she keeps on hiding her face.    It seems their group date was impromptu.  I also read in soompi that unnie is down with the flu recently.  I hope she’s well already.  I guess that’s why she didn’t really bother to put make-up on coz she’s really feeling bad.  Awww.  And she was present in the preem.  So sweet.

Regine, ‘Di Malilimutan ang Concert ni Barbra

Very unforgettable pala for Regine Velasquez ang panonood niya ng concert ng idol niyang si Barbra Streisand last November 20 sa L.A..

“Fan na nga raw siya ni Barbra, fan pa siya ng mga nasa audience, kaya talagang panay ang kwento ni Regine tungkol sa kanyang experience,” kwento ng isang friend ni Regine.

Kasamang nanood ng Asia’s songbird ang parents niya.  Nasa audience raw kasi sila Barry Manilow, Kurt Rusell, Tom Hanks, Goldie Hawn, Leonardo DiCaprio, Rosie O’Donell, Shirley Maclaine among others na sikat.

Kwento pa raw ni Regine, ang galing pa ring mag-concert ni Barbra at meron daw itong isang number na tinanggal ang shoes at umupo sa stage.

Anyway, nag-story conference na sina Regine and Piolo Pascual para sa gagawin nilang movie na may tentative title na Fallen at malamang mag-start ang shooting sa December 5 under the direction of Joyce Bernal.

An eyewitness said that when Regine Velasquez watched Barbra Streisand’s concert last week in L.A. (she purposely went there for that), she was seated on Row 7.  Well, if you paid $3,000 (per ticket), why shouldn’t you be? Said the eyewitness, “The most expensive ticket actually cost only $750 per but some patrons voluntarily gave more as donation to Streisand’s cause.” Regine was with two companions with whom she did last-minute shopping at the elite Beverly Hills before she rushed to LAX for her PAL flight back to Manila. If you can afford it, enjoy it!

Wow!  So nice naman that Regine got to see Barbra in one of her concerts.  Maybe one of her “last” concert.  And true to what was posted here before, she took her parents with her to see the concert, and not to mend her supposed broken heart.  Hah!

And the ticket was $3000 a piece?  Tha’ts a huge amount of money.  Well, if you can afford it, why not?  I’m sure Regine really saved for this event.

And the shoes!  Regine does that also in her concerts.  She’ll take off her shoes when it feels uncomfortable then sits prettily (I mean wa-poise) anywhere whether on top of a piano or at the top of the stairs, then sings her heart out.    It’s so enjoyable to see her letting her stiff side down.

And about that “Fallen” movie, it should definitely start!  Or else…

Para kay Ogie Alcasid, unfair para kay Regine Velasquez ang mga intrigang ibinabato sa Asia’s Songbird ngayon.

“Lalo na nga ‘yung tungkol sa pag-uugali, kasi, parang ang feeling ko, hindi naman nila lubusang kilala ‘yung tao.

“Regine is one of the sweetest, gentle, loving persons I know. At ipagtatanggol ko siya hanggang sa dulo,” touching na pahayag ni Ogie nang makausap namin sa presscon for his forthcoming concert, Ogie Alcasid Sings His Greatest Hits, na gaganapin sa Casino Filipino, Parañaque, on December 2.

Kung pagbabasehan ang mga kilos at sinasabi nina Regine at Ogie, iisa lang talaga ang maiku-conclude —that there’s really something special going on between them.

At this point, ayaw nang mag-deny or mag-confirm ni Ogie. May bago na siyang favorite line, “Si Regine na lang ang tanungin n’yo.”

Pero nang hingan siya ng komento kung gusto ba niya ng relasyong nakatago, aniya, siyempre’y hindi.

“Siyempre, gusto kong ipagsigawan na ako, pero kung may mga dahilan … Naks!” say niya. Then added, “Gusto ko siyempre, alam mo, ano, eh … naku, siya na lang ulit ang tanungin ninyo.”

Nagkatawanan na lang dahil akala namin ay magtutuluy-tuloy na ito sa pag-amin.

See!  Here, we can see how Ogie is such a true gentleman.  He’s passing the responsibilty of explaining the truth to Regine!  Now that shows real concern.

This issue only puts Regine into the bad side once more.  It’s so tiring.  And all the guys she’s involved with kuno had no balls to at least come out in the open and really defend her.  How disappointing.  Too bad.

More of Regine.  Actually, the following were published a eons ago, but I wanted to be a little more updated in everything, hehe.

Natatawa na lang si Ogie Alcasid nang ma-link siya kay Miriam Quiambao.

Sabi raw ni Regine Velasquez sa kanya, sobrang guwapo niya dahil hindi lang ang Songbird ang nali-link kay Ogie kundi pati si Miriam.

Ayon sa kuwento ni Ogie, nagsimula ang intrigang iyun nang mag-show siya sa Cebu. Nagkataong nandu’n din si Miriam. Inimbitahan niya itong manood.

Pagkatapos ng show, naki-join si Miriam sa victory party nila.

Pagkatapos ng party, walang maghahatid kay Miriam dahil malayo ang tinutuluyang hotel. Nag-volunteer si Ogie na siya na ang maghatid.

Nagulat na lang daw sila, inili-link na sila sa isa’t-isa.

Nang pumutok ang isyung iyun, tinawagan ni Miriam si Regine para magpaliwanag at magtanong na rin kung bakit naiintriga sila.

Natawa na lang si Ogie at hindi rin niya maipaliwanag kung bakit kailangang tumawag pa si Miriam kay Regine. “Parang sobrang guwapo ko na nga,” pahayag ni Ogie sa presscon ng nalalapit nitong concert sa December 2 na gaganapin sa Pagcor Theater sa Casino Filipino.

Bale ito ang huling concert ni Ogie ngayong taon at special guest niya rito si Lovi.

Sa Pasko ay nasa Australia si Ogie kasama ang kanyang pamilya. Ayaw na niyang sagutin ang mga intriga tungkol sa kanila ng kanyang asawa. Basta, maligaya raw sila at wala raw silang problema.

Sobrang guwapo, my behind!  As if!    Ok fine with the family issue, it’s been ages since he has been explaining that, in one sentence at the most, leaving everyone still blind.  But I want to react on Miriam’s reaction.  Why did she feel the need to contact Regine?  In the first place, did she know already that Reg and Uge are an “item”?  It’s like she wanted to explain to Reg her side so that she wouldn’t be on the bad light in Reg’s eyes.  Whatever for?

Umamin na kasi!  I’ve been sticking to the fact I know and believe.  Whatever Regine says is the truth.  So help me, Birdie.

Cinema sa pelikula ang nag-confirm ng tungkol sa shooting ng dalawa para sa
movie na pagsasamahan nila for the first time.

It better be tuloy na!  I’m shome kinda tired waiting.  Kinikilig ako ng sobra when I heard of the news of the project, like 2 years ago.  It’s tickle is kinda diminishing na.  So before it completely pops out and I definitley forget about my plans of watching it many times, they better start it.  Work it, Birdie! 

Ogie Alcasid, idineny si Regine Velasquez 

Muling dinenay ni Ogie Alcasid sa taping ng Bubble Gang ang ‘di mamatay-matay na isyu sa kanila ni Regine Velasquez. 

Ang mahalaga, anang singer-comedian, ay alam nila ang totoo.

Kaaliw nga pala ang portion ni Ogie sa sitcom noong Friday, ang Huling Hiling, kung saan lumabas siya bilang si Don Anselmo, isang mayamang malapit nang mamatay.

Ang kanyang dying wish ay makita ang dalawang kaibigang sina Tonio (Antonio Aquitania) at Boy 2 Quizon, parehong kurakot at magnanakaw.  Gusto raw niyang bago bawian ng buhay ay mapagitnaan ng dalawang magnanakaw, tulad ni Lord.

Kim Sun-Ah, Daniel Henney and Jung Ryu-Won from My Name Is Kim SamSoon made a special surprise visit to give warm words of encouragement to ’samshik’ Hyun Bin on the set of Snow Queen on the 19th. ‘Aja Aja Fighting, Hyun Bin!!’ they shouted.

Ko Doo Shim who’s playing TW (HB)’s mom in the drama were shooting at a street food stall in Seoul when the 3 of them made an unannounced visit to the set, showing the close friendships they are sharing.

Not only were the 3 stars there visiting binnie, many fr the production team and the crew showed up too at the set, turning it into a moving gathering of the MNIKSS team.

‘I feel like I’m fully charged up coz of the visit fr my friends fr MNIKSS!’ HB responded when asked what he felt when his colleagues visited him. ‘I wished the SQ crew will be close friends too like the MNIKSS crew after the shooting!’ He said hopefully.
