MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

A picture truly says a thousand words. The picture above was taken just last week on Pops Birthday. Be the judge, wehehehe.
Pops used to deny vehemently her relationship with Jomari. Now, she’s been shouting the real score to the world. Will Regine second the motion? Whatever!

Two of the questions asked of KSP Rachel were about who she considered “the worst actress” and the “overrated singer” and she named Kris Aquino and Regine Velasquez respectively.
Same with Rachel’s below-the-belt blow against Regine. Well, all I could say is that if Rachel were only one-fourth as good as Regine…
Go! Ricky Lo!

Filipino workers hailed as heroes
FILIPINO workers were hailed as “heroes” by some of their country’s leading stars yesterday during a visit to Bahrain.
Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez praised overseas Filipino workers for the sacrifices they are making to ensure a better future for their families back home.
In a Press conference held at the Bahay Kubo Filipino restaurant, in Umm Al Hasssam, prior to the Smart Pinoy Concert at the Marina Club, the artists said they were excited to be in Bahrain to entertain thousands of their fans.
Rain failed to dampen the spirits of more than 2,000 Filipinos who came to watch the free concert at the club’s beachfront, where Ms Velasquez, actress Joyce Jimenez, singer and actor Vhong Navarro, television host and comedian Arnel Ignacio and singer Nyoy Volante performed.
The Smart Pinoy Concert, organised by the Gulf Media Productions, was held to mark the official launch of the Smart Pinoy brand by Smart Communica-tions Phil-ippines.
“Filipino workers are the Philippines’ silent heroes,” said Ms Velasquez.
“It is important for entertainers like us to take time to go out and meet overseas Filipino workers and bring a little bit of home to them.”
Ms Jimenez, an American-born actress, said that this was the first time she had gone abroad to entertain Filipino workers.
“I admire overseas Filipino workers for their hard work and if I can do anything to make them smile, then for me that’s a big deal,” she said.
“This morning I went to a store, a Filipina worker there recognised me and she had the biggest smile in the world.
“It made me feel very happy that even though I didn’t do anything, that I was just there, I made someone smile.
“To see her face like that, no amount of money can pay for that.”
Mr Volante, who arrived with the other artists in Bahrain from the Philippines on Wednesday night, said that he was already missing his family back home.
“I can only imagine how hard it is for the workers who have left many of their families behind,” he said.
“What Filipino workers are doing is hard, it takes sacrifice and you have to admire them for that.”
The concert also featured a carnival atmosphere, a common tradition in the Philippines around the Christmas holidays.
There were stalls offering traditional food, handicrafts, a videoke challenge, a dance competition, raffles and prizes, stilt walkers and camel rides.
“The Smart Pinoy Bahrain event is our way of bringing the Philippines to our fellow Filipinos outside the country, via a fun-filled fiesta celebration which is part of the parcel of the Filipino culture,” said Smart Wireless Consumer Division head Danilo Mojica.
“We recognise the sacrifices that the overseas Filipino workers make by working abroad and we salute them for their contributions to the Philippine economy.
“This concert is our advance Christmas gift to them.”
Also present at the Press conference were Filipino Ambassador Eduardo Maglaya, Philippine Embassy consul general Jose de la Rosa Burgos, welfare officer Venus Bravo and other officials.
It’s a good thing that the organizers of the event chose the songbird as one of the performing artists. I think most OFW likes her and very familiar with her music.
And i learned that there’ll be a repeat of the said show, RV annouced last sunday at sop.

I posted previously pics of Sun-ah greeting Daniel Henney a happy birthday. But when I viewed the videos, it seems it wasn’t really for Dan’s natal day but instead, she was congratulating him for the launch of his website (I think that was that because in another video, Ryu-won was indeed congratulating him in english while Sun-ah and Daniel were distracting her with her greetings).
Anyway, here are the links of the videos;

The videos are a joy to watch. Sun-ah unnie is so funny without even trying.

Rumor
MBC, “My Name is Kim Sam Soon 2″ will be aired next year in March.
Cho Rok Baem Media will be working with the director, Kim Yoon Chul for the upcoming miniseries My Name is Kim Sam Soon 2 (16 episodes). This news has been announced on the 6th of December [today].
My Name is Kim Sam Soon 2 will be about this century’s young, elegant-looking, cold people who looks down upon on love, thinks love is a joke, people who shows off, acts as if their handsome, acts as if their cool, but later gets slapped in the face type of love story. The company mentioned that the characters are not yet used to the storyline but they will start filming soon.
I was truly surprised by this bit of news. In all honesty, I don’t want MNIKSS to have a sequel. It is already perfect (for me) as it was and a new production will just ruin the essence of the first drama. I do want to see Hyun Bin and Kim Sun-ah in a new project, but it should have another theme and not a continuation of their first collaboration. If this story is true, they (the production theme) will have a humongous pressure on their shoulders to exceed what MNIKSS have achieved.

MBC,”‘내 이름은 김삼순2′ 제작계획 없다”
MBC, “My Name is Kim Sam Soon 2″ Project Will Not Be Produced”
The director of “My Name is Kim Sam Soon” will be producing his upcoming drama ‘케세라세라’Producer 김윤철 (Kim Yoon Chul) stated that “although My Name is Kim Sam Soon had received so many interest and love, I don’t have any plans of making a sequel. The fact that I will be making a new drama (케세라세라) probably might have gotten mixed up with “My Name is Kim Sam Soon 2″.
The new upcoming drama 케세라세라 has given a false alarm to netizens out there thinking that it was the new “My Name is Kim Sam Soon 2″.
The producer also mentioned how his new drama has a completely different storyline from ‘My Name is Kim Sam Soon’ and mentioned how he was shocked to hear about the FALSE rumors about ‘My Name is Kim Sam Soon 2′.
Thank goodness! Whew!
Anyway, after attending Daniel Henney’s film premiere, our lovely unnie also supported Rain’s movie by watching it on it’s premiere also. This time, Sun-ah did not shy away from reporters and photographers when they approached her and took photos of her. And here’s one pic;

She’s now well prepared and had terrific make-up on.
Ang payat ng lola. I remember the clip of a show wherein Sun-ah and Rain got punked. I guess that made them become friends.
And here’s some cool gifs where Sun-ah greeted Daniel Henney a happy birthday when they visited Hyun Bin on the set of Snow Queen. How sweet!

Ang kulet talaga ng lola, hahaha.
Ay, I wanna be her friend, lolz!

“TILL I MET YOU” showing in Southern CALIFORNIA
LOS ANGELES, CA.-One of Philippine cinema’s blockbuster hits of the year is coming to Southern California in a special series of theatrical screenings in Los Angeles, Anaheim and San Diego. Co-producers GMA Films and Viva Films teamed up with LA-based production group Creative Concepts International in bringing “Till I Met You” to Filipino movie audiences in the Southern California area.Directed by Mark Reyes, “Till I Met You” is the much-awaited reunion movie of “Asia’s Songbird” Regine Velasquez and Robin Padilla, known as the “Bad Boy of Philippine Movies.” Still showing in select theaters in Manila and several provinces, it has now earned over 90 million pesos in gross receipts since its premiere in mid-October and was easily touted as one of the year’s best films.
The magical chemistry between lead stars Regine and Robin is unmistakable. That chemistry is a pivotal factor in the film and it is the “seldom seen” kind of chemistry which radiates throughout the movie, making the two lead actors’ portrayal of their characters, independently and together, truly effective.
Not to be outdone is multi-awarded actor Eddie Garcia whose style and flair in acting never fails to complement and always surpasses expectations. Kuh Ledesma, who first popularized the theme song and movie title, appears in an off-beat cameo role.
The song “Till I Met You” was first released in 1989 as part of Kuh’s album “A Long Long Time Ago” produced by Vicor Records and easily became a huge hit.
“Till I Met You” earned a “B” classification from the Movie and Television Review & Classification Board (MTRCB) in the Philippines which is equivalent to a General Patronage (GP) rating in the US making it suitable for viewing by the entire family.
Catch the LA screenings at the Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills on December 16 (at 2 pm and 4:15 pm) and on December 17 (at 12 noon and 2:15 pm). Additional screenings are scheduled from December 9th to 15th . For specific screening schedules and to purchase tickets, contact 1-888-886-7889 or send an email to CreativeConceptsIntl@gmail.com.
