Yey! Here’s my blow-by-blow (bwahahaha) account of Rain’s (or Bi)comeback special (Me.Rain.Dance MBC 10-17-08 10:50 pm). Of course I’m not going to talk about the whole show. Ano, bale? Ehehehe. My summary will only focus on my lovely unnie, Kim Suna. Kyaaaaaaaaa.

First off, she was soooooo hot and sexy in that show. How could she manage to look really shexshi in just a few weeks? I mean, she was a bit on the chubby side (all right, all right, a bit not like the present) when she did When It’s at Night. I guess, the fortnight’s intensive dance training trimmed her down. Waaah, I wanna dance too, with Rain, ahehehe.

Okay. Here are pics to guide us along the whole story.

The title of Rain’s comeback special was Me.Rain.Dance (the red hangeul characters). But the show’s staff made a side note, a huge one at that. And it was such a pleasant surprise. They altered the title a bit (the white characters under the red one) with My.Secret.Dance Instructor, meaning it was Suna who was speaking all the way (for both title). How nice of MBC. I guess they wanted to make up for the trashy promotion they did with WIAN. Hmmfff. You’re still not forgiven. But we’re relenting bit by bit, ahehehe. (Thanks to Alodia for translating the second title.)

THE INTERVIEW

What interview? Hahahaha. They just chatted for a bit and that’s about it. I thought Suna was going to dig in on Rain’s dark past (ahehehe) or that Rain is going to do the same to Suna. But well, they just flirted with each other. I think Rain wanted Suna to do what she promised to him. That’s it. Aigoo, where are the subtitles of this? LOLZ.

PRACTICE 1

Pic 1, 2. Suna arrived in the dance studio. Rain and his dancers were already there and practicing.
Pic 3, 4, 5. Rain greeted and welcomed Suna.
Pic 6. Rain asked Suna to watch him and the dancers as they make the moves for Nappeun Namja, tango version, the song which Suna will dance to. She reacted in a funny way when she saw Rain lifted his partner and how the lady dancer raised her legs as part of the choreography.
Pic 7. Suna clapped after they finished dancing.
Pic 8. Rain pulled Suna so they can start practicing. Suna hesitated at first since she seemed to be not yet ready to do the provocative steps. And she made cute remarks along the way, which made Rain and the others laugh hard.
Pic 9. Suna’s pant’s laces got loose and Rain helped her tie it.
Pic 10. Suna was a bit touched so she playfully caressed Rain’s shoulders. Bi was surprised and pushed Suna a bit, hahaha. Affected much with just a mere touch? Ahehehe.
Pic 11. Suna made the whole practice atmosphere light by cracking jokes about herself. Waah, I wanna joke around with unnie too.
Pic 12. Rain hugged Suna for a job well done. (Asus, chansing) Their first practice session is done.

CHAT

Rain and Suna chatted in the internet after the rehearsal. Waaah, there’s a chat feature in Suna’s page in Yedang? I wanna chat with unnie too, ahuhuhuhu.

Anyway, here are their messages to each other (thanks to a Bi fan who posted this in Soompi). Rain clearly doesn’t chat much on the internet, because he types soooo slow, ahehehe. Suna even complained.

*Dance instructor logs in.
(instructor)Rain: Did you arrive safely?
(student)Sun ah: I’m not sure if i can do well, sir.
::Rain slowly typing responding to her::
Sun ah: anyway, thank’s(whispers:”why does he reply so slow)
Rain: I’m sorry,i can’t type that fast.
Sun ah: (smiles)
Sun ah: You’re very slowwwwwww.
Sun ah: Of all the person, why choose me?
Rain: Later.
Sun ah: What?
Sun ah: what?
Rain: Because you are the best and pretty.(prettiest)
Sun ah: Then,meet me(date)
Rain: That was a joke……………..
Sun ah: A joke? what?
Rain: sleep well
Sun ah: sleep?..you have to answer me!
*Instructor logs off.

Suna laughed so hard after she was left in the chat room. Nappeun chatmate, ahehehe.

PRACTICE CUM PALM READING

Pic 1, 2, 3. Rain wiped Suna’s face. They’ve been practicing hard for quite a while and Suna is a bit exhausted. Suna felt giddy. Rains’s female fans are jealous, ahehehe.
Pic 4. Rehearsal. I like that step. That’s part of the opening. Sexy step already.
Pic 5, 6, 7. Rain massaged Suna’s shoulders after their dance routine. Fans are doubly jealous, hehe. Suna seemed to enjoy the rub. Lucky Rain. Lucky Suna, hehehe.
Pic 8. Rain told Suna that he knew how to read what’s written in her palms. So he took Suna’s hands and intertwined his fingers with hers. (Chakaman, Rain just wanna hold hands eh.)
Pic 9. Rain counted how many men were and are in Suna’s life.
Pic 10, 11. Suna reacted and disagreed because she can’t believe Rain counted 18, ahehehe.
Pic 12, 13, 14, 15, 16. Suna counterattacked and grabbed Rain’s hand and counted the lines in his palm. Rain tried to pull his hand back but Suna’s grip was hard. She counted 28, ahehehe. Rain just laughed at the verdict. Is it true? Ahehehe.

BIRTHDAY PRANK

Suna and Rain went on a date on October 1, after their rehearsals. Rain invited Suna out because he wanted to surprise Suna on her birthday. Suna thought Rain doesn’t know the date of her birthday so she wasn’t expecting anything. And she mentioned to him, when Rain offered her champagne, that it’s her birthday that day. Rain feigned not knowing her special day. But the truth is, he was already in the restaurant two hours earlier to prepare (pic 6). He even invited a tarot card reader so they can learn of Suna’s fortune. But of course, the invited lady is also part of the prank. She only mentioned bad luck, which made Suna a bit nervous. She even cried. Omo! Rain, don’t make unnie cry. But when everything was getting serious and Suna was really disturbed, Rain then told Suna that the fortune telling was just an act. The card that she drew (bad luck) was just one of the many, meaning all the cards have the same face. Suna was slow to realize that she was being pranked. She was still rattled by the fortune teller so Rain did a magic trick. He produced a single rose from a burning thread and gave it to Suna (pic 16). Suna still doesn’t get it. Rain made another magic trick, this time drawing a heart shaped jewelry box from a burning thread (pic 21, 22). Suna was still in a daze (pic 23). Then it dawned on her that she was made fun to, ahehehe. Then after laughing so hard, her tears flowed freely when Rain put the necklace on her. She then asked Rain if the tarot reader was not serious. She really got disturbed and confused with the false fortune telling. Rain showed her the script that they followed, and that’s when Suna exhaled a sigh of relief. Rain presented a bouquet of red roses and a cake. They hugged and both blew the candle on the cake.

PRACTICE & PRANK (to Rain this time)

When both Suna and Rain were taking a break at rehearsals, Suna gave Rain some sushi to eat. Rain was surprised and thanked Suna. When he ate one, his face got red and his eyes got watery. Suna tried to act casually but Rain caught the twinkle in her eyes. Rain looked inside the sushi and found a wad of wasabi. Suna laughed and asked for forgiveness, but Rain wouldn’t let her get away. Suna tried to back off but Rain caught her foot and pulled her near him. (That was nasty, yet funny. I forgive you for pulling unnie’s leg, Rain. You can pull mine too, ahehehe.) But Suna managed to get away from him and laughed from a far corner of the studio. Then when the break is over, they became serious and practiced one more time.

BEFORE THE SHOW

Pic 1. Suna’s dressing room.
Pic 2, 3, 4. Suna prepping up.
Pic 5, 6, 7, 8. Suna putting on Rain’s gift necklace. (Kyaa, I like the raindrops design)
Pic 9, 10. Suna realeasing her tension and touching the pendant of her necklace.
Pic 11, 12. Suna watching the show’s progress.
Pic 13, 14, 15. Suna brushing up her dance moves.
Pic 16 to 20. Suna walking backstage towards the stage. It’s show time.

D DANCE

Need I say more. She was sizzling hot. And graceful. And beautiful. And sexy. And…..

I’m so loving Nappuen Namja, tango version right now.

AFTER D DANCE

Oh, figure it out yourselves, ahehehe. Of course, they’re flattering each other. LOLZ. But they trully deserve the thunderous applause from the audience.

Suna unnie, you were fantastic.

Oooh, before I forget, on the birthday date, Bi greeted Suna by saying she was pretty, no, beautiful. “Yoppeun yoja, arumdaun yoja” (pretty woman, beautiful woman). Then Suna answered back, “Nappuen namja” (bad guy). Ahehehe.

And Suna also joined Rain onstage for the encore.  She was soo cute trying to catch up with the dance steps.

You can watch the whole show here —>>> Youtube

The encore is not included in the show, but you can download it in Suna’s page in Yedang.

Kyaaaa, Suna has a new CF.  I will post it next time.  She’s so cute in there.

Anneong. Look who’s back! Ahehehe.

I’ve been soooo busy. (Yeah, right. Who hasn’t?) I’ve had too little time to even update my own site. Ahuhuhuhu.

Anyway, I’m back. And I really hope I can keep up with everything. I won’t be able to post everyday, but I will try. Really.

A lot of things has happened to my unnies, I don’t even know where to start. And with “unnies,” I mean Kim Sun-ah unnie and Go Hyun-jung unnie. [Unnie - big sis in Korea. But only girls call their elder sisters or older girl friends unnie. Boys call them noona.] If you don’t know them, well, go research, ahehehe. Or you can click the link of their respective names in the right side (categories). You will definitely know a thing or two or many about them.

All right. First off, my pretty, pretty Go Hyun-jung unnie.

She’s shooting a new movie. Yey! And it’s with the same director again of “Woman on the Beach.” (Honestly, I didn’t like that movie. Some said it was good, but I guess it’s just a matter of preference. I didn’t like her role, her wardrobe, her co-stars, even the director. But I like her acting, ahehehe. Biased!) I just hope I’ll like this movie when it comes out.

Here are some articles about the movie. Read on!!

HONG Sang-soo Shoots His Ninth

2008/08/13

Director HONG Sang-soo is in production on his ninth feature film, tentatively titled “You Don’t Even Know” (Jal al-ji-do mot-ha-myun-seo). The film, HONG’s second to be shot in HD following his previous feature “Night and Day”, has an ultra low budget of only US$100,000.

HONG is one of Korea’s leading auteur directors, with many of his films screening at international festivals. Several of his films have been released in France and retrospectives of HONG’s oeuvre have been organized in Toronto, San Francisco, Irvine, and Montreal, among other cities.

The new project stars HONG regulars, KIM Tae-woo (”Woman is the Future of Man”), EOM Ji-won (”Tale of Cinema”), and KO Hyeon-jeong (”Woman on the Beach”). KIM plays a film director invited to sit on the jury of the Jecheon International Music and Film Festival. There he meets an attractive programmer for the fest, played by EOM. Later he visits Jeju Island to deliver a lecture and meets the wife of one of his colleagues, played by Ko.

The film, produced by production shingle Jeonwonsa, is currently shooting in Jecheon, where the festival (a real-life event) takes place each August. The production then moves to Jeju where it will continue to shoot into September.

HA Stars in Hong Sang Soo’s You Don’t Even Know

2008/08/30

(Forgive the english, this was taken from a Korean translation site)

Ha Jung-woo filmed tentatively titled, “You Don’t Even Know” directed by Hong Sang Soo. He is starring as a sculptor, a supporting role without guarantee. Ko Hyun Jung, Um Ji Won and Kim Tae Woo are main cast and Jeong Yoo Mi, Kong Hyung Jin, and Yoo Joon Sang participated as supporting role in this movie. They all star with minimum or no guarantee. This is Hong’s ninth feature film, and is about a director (Kim) who goes on a journey.

Last year, Ha was offered to star in Night and Day (2008) directed by Hong Sang Soo, but had to give up the role for “The Chaser” filming.

This film is in post production and will be released in 2009.

Here are some pics from an interview of Ms. Go, from Cine21.

And this one is with Ha Jung-woo (her partner in H.I.T.). Nice reunion. I bet Ms. Go recommended Ha to Director Hong. Or rather, since Director Hong already offered a role to Ha before, maybe he couldn’t pass this opportunity because Ms. Go asked him to co-star. And he can’t refuse, even though he’s so busy at the moment. Sweet!

I will be eagerly waiting for this. I’m sure others too, those who appreciate Ms. Go’s acting talent and beauty.

Next!!! Sun-ah unnie. Kyaaaaaaaaaa!

The past months have been great for us KSA fans. We were able to watch her film, Girl Scout, with english subtitles and we were also able to enjoy anticipating for her latest drama, When It’s at Night (Bamimyeon Bammada) every Monday and Tuesday nights two months ago.

Watching WIAN was a blast. Monday and Tuesday nights won’t be the same again for us. We used to be problematic about those nights, whether the internet would be fast or not, whether we could see unnie’s great acting again and her witty comedic skills, whether the story will flow just the way we wanted or predicted it, whether there would be kissing scenes, or better yet, love scenes. Ahahaha. Anticipating is so much fun when you can share it with other fans. We don’t understand Korean, but we still watched the drama, just because Sunny was there. Watching it raw is a new experience. At least we can concentrate on unnie’s acting and her facial expressions. But watching it (again and again) with subtitles is also wonderful. And after an episode ended, fans would throng to forums and talk about it until the early hours of the morning. And will still continue to visit their fave forums the following days until another episode would be aired. That was fun, hehe.

I will be posting things about WIAN in the future. But what I am concerned about now is Me.Rain.Dance, which will be broadcasted tonight. Yes, tonight, 10:50 Korean time in MBC. Waaah, I won’t be able to watch it. Hopefully some good hearted people will upload it so we poor souls can download it at a later time (later means an hour or so after the broadcast, hahaha).

A lot of write-ups have been circulatig about Rain (Bi) and Sunny’s hot tango dance number (Yes!). Sunny danced, Sunny danced, Sunny danced. Ahehehe.

Most fans were surprised that she had that tango number with Bi because she hasn’t showcased that part of her talent many times. I remember that on one of her first CF (commercial film), she did dance tango a bit. Then in one of her old dramas, she also danced onstage. Oh, there was also the song and dance number with her co-star in Great Expectations, but it was expected, since they sang a fast song.

It’s worthy to admire Sunny. She’s one of those really talented actors and most of her co-stars, even directors and staff testified that she’s really a sincere person. No pretentions. And they say she appreciates everyone’s input, whether it be small or big from her co-workers. And she shows her appreciation by giving them gifts, personalized gifts, not just items randomly picked from some store.

Aigoo, I can’t wait. And I admire MBC for teasing the viewers so much. They released only a few photos (below) from Sunny and Bi’s practice and only two pics from the said dance number. And, and only a 20-second teaser preview of the show. Aigoo. Tricky, very tricky. And MBC made us very excited, hahaha.

Here are those pics. How could Sunny get so sexy like that? She’s so hot and pretty, ahehehe.

The Practice

The Dance Showcase

Can’t wait. Unnie, fighting!!!
